Friendly Reminder VFIO Linux Gamers. Anti-cheat programs were always the reason and we couldn't play Windows games on Linux with Wine. Before start writing the solution of how i avoided the Virtual Machine Detection-Ban from the anti-cheat programs and i am playing my games on a VFIO Virtual Machine without fear, i feel the need to write some historical and tech facts to make my article valid from the beginning and to help the current and future anti-cheat developers to not repeat the mistakes of the past. 1. Debian 12 (Bookworm) OpenVPN Hotfix and How to upgrade to Debian Bookworm with a Full Working OpenVPN. A Mate Desktop guide.

This Guide solves the importing of the old OpenVPN configuration files after the upgrade to Debian 12(Bookworm) from Debian 11(Bullseye) too. After many months, i finally moved everything from Windows to Linux but i am still playing my games on Windows with KVM VFIO. This Guide is the first of the many articles that will cover the tech part of my movement from Windows to Linux for everything including... gaming! Recently, i have been experimenting with Linux guests on a Linux KVM Host that i will use as streaming PC because of Software Raid 1 and i faced a problem when i tried to share a folder from the KVM Host to KVM Guest on a Debian 11 KVM. The Problem with Dx12 Games like CoD & the OBS. Cod Modern Warfare Warzone forces the usage of DirectX 12 when the VGA you will play the game supports DX12 and even you add the -d3d11 argument in the battle.net, launcher will download shaders for dx12 and not for dx11 and you will have black screen on OBS instead of the game.
